Best Shot Forward

Will Moore and Jared Cook have little in common, except they’re both 7th graders at Washington Middle School. Will is the new kid who hopes to overcome his size and make his name known in sports. Jared is the quiet kid that nobody notices and who longs for a friend. When basketball brings the unlikely pair together, neither will fully understand the consequences. There is a sinister plot in their school and the boys unwittingly find themselves right in the middle of it. Battling on the court becomes the least of their worries when they join their teammates and friends in the ultimate game—the game of life or death. When it comes down to the wire, all they can do is put their best shot forward.
