House flipper and amateur sleuth, Flora Abner, has just finalized the purchase of her dilapidated new house and is itching to get started on demo. Undaunted by the massive list of upgrades and repairs, she dives right in, and goes exploring while she catalogs and prioritizes her repair list. All is well until she discovers a skeleton in the attic. Her bold renovation plans go on hold while police conduct an investigation, and since she has free time on her hands, Flora puts all of her energies toward trying to crack the case. She's further incentivized to find the killer when she learns that the dead stranger is someone whom Grady's brother used to know. The more she digs, the more she finds things that leave her freaked out about her new house. Did she just purchase a place with a very, very dark past?
