Part of a seven-volume collection (published in nine parts, 1864-90) comprising translated Venetian and northern Italian state papers relating to England, Volume 1 contains documents from the years 1202-1509, the editor's preface, and chronological tables of documents, ambassadors, consuls and other diplomats featured in the records.
