The pandemic destroyed our events industry, the theatres went dark, Arenas repurposed for medical needs. We no longer danced, nor sang. No more shoulder to shoulder at the pit barrier to get as close as we could to our idols. We lost hope of ever seeing those days again. The fairytale we didn't even know we were part of felt like it was over, and without the happily ever after you would expect. And yet, there grew a determination, solidarity in the industry. That we would not be tamed, that those days would return and we would again be free to be who we were. To be living our best lives. And just like in every fairy tale, heroes rose from where they were least expected. Jonny Romeo of Romeo's Angels has put everything he has into one post-pandemic tour. To give jobs to as many as he can, being the Prince Charming not just for one person but for all the people he could touch. Will he triumph or will he lose all that he holds dear? Suzie Slater, a production assistant working for Romeo's Angels tour, lost everything to the pandemic. If this tour fails she will be homeless.
