Dr. Jo & Aussie's Outdoor Adventures

Dr. Jo and her amazing dog Aussie like to get up early to take walks. They love to enjoy nature and the outdoor world that God created for everyone. Aussie can lead Dr. Jo into some surprising circumstances. Accidently sneaking into the back of the ZOO turns into saving some animals in trouble. With each experience, the reader will get to know more about zoology (the science of animals). After each of their walks, they always come home with a higher knowledge of God's beautiful world. Dr. Joanna Johannes grew up in Indiana. It was there that she learned a strong work ethic. As a young adult, she become a world champion kneeboarder and then went on to be a serial entrepreneur. While obtaining her master's degree, she became the fastest promoted executive at a fortune 500 company. She then started her own auditing firm. Fifteen years ago, she founded her own Christian school in the Florida Panhandle. Starting out with only 12 students, it now has over 600! This amazing school called Lighthouse inspired her to write this book. She believes that children need to be encouraged to go outside more and have less screen time. She and her husband Colin raised two sons, Collin Wayne and Logan James, to be amazing young men who are currently in college and teaching young people about apologetics.
