Enchanted is a journey of self-discovery that every young adult must make. Having tricked Princess Callistra (see Book Two: Entangled) into revealing the ingredients necessary to mix the Elixir of Happiness, Sir Richard and Sir David set out with Princess Helen to collect the ingredients for the happiness potion. However, the two Wicked Witches, Princess Callistra and Queen Draconia, continue to thwart their efforts, despite Callistra's veiled promise to reform her behavior and support them in their quest.
