Om ENVIRONMENTAL ECONOMICS
Environmental economics is not a naturally attractive discipline. Most of the economic principles underlying these approaches derive from complex mathematical models. This makes them inaccessible to those who don't have the time or energy to familiarize themselves with these mathematical theories. The lack of accessible textbooks has created a void. This course has been designed specifically to remedy this. We wanted to present the major theories in this field to students who are not specialized in economics, and more generally to readers with little or no knowledge of the subject. Ideas from the natural sciences, physics, literature, political science and other disciplines can be found throughout the text. In some cases, these references raise unresolved issues that economic analysis can help to resolve. In other cases, they modify the structure of economic analysis or offer a divergent point of view. It only remains to thank Khein MONGA TUTU BANZA, thanks to whom this course could be typed and corrected.
