Evolution of Alagoas' GDP and the participation of public administration

The evolution and composition of Alagoas' GDP between 2000 and 2012 demonstrates the role of the public sector in this trajectory. The research is structured in three parts: a literature review covering the implementation of regional policies in Brazil; a second chapter presenting the economic situation in Alagoas; and finally a chapter showing the evolution of Alagoas' GDP and the weight of the state in its composition.
