Fate vs Choice

When given the option, would you prefer a fated mate or a chosen one?I was raised in an isolated pack, far from all the other packs. Fated mates were rare. Growing up, we all were prepared to chose a mate. Then I was given the opportunity to spend some time out in the world, and even found a male who had the potential to be my chosen mate.But is he really the best choice for me? What happens when fate places another mate in front of me?Do I trust fate to get it right, to let fate control my life? Or do I take control of my future and go with the one I chose? Would any of us survive the fall out of that choice?
