The start of the twenty-first century brought on Massive Ontogenetic Regulation Failure Syndrome, or just MORFS, to the fear of adolescents, since it might cause small or drastic changes. Among the drastic changes were gaining of characteristics of other species, sex changes, or even special powers.
A young soldier that is somewhat purist is on assignment in a laboratory where MORFS is studied. However, not everything is as it seems. Then something goes wrong, and suddenly all his views are all turned around as he changes to the other side of the MORFS divide.
