Ferdinand Burgdorff is known for his romantic landscape paintings of the Monterey Peninsula and the desert Southwest. His paintings are in the collections of the De Young Museum, San Francisco, the Oakland Museum, and the Cleveland Museum of Art, among many others.
The present work showcases a fine array of new photographic images of paintings by Burgdorff utilizing the Kvamme process of digital enhancement.
