Forensic Psychiatry, Race and Culture

A study of forensic psychiatry which explores the apparent Western ethnocentric values which govern decisions made in the field. The history of psychiatry, current clinical issues, and present public policy are covered, in order to show the growth of a system in which non-conformity can result in a diagnosis of mental disorder.
