Mozambique has shown impressive economic growth and a declining poverty rate over the last 20 years, but 46% of the population still lives in poverty. The unequal availability of basic services, especially in health and education, and the obstacles to sustainable employment are at the root of this economic disparity. Social policies focused on combating poverty have therefore been adopted with the aim of reducing this evil. It is within the framework of these efforts that in the 2011 financial year, the government allocated 140 million Meticais to PERPU, covering municipalities and provincial capital cities. This study focuses on the Strategic Program for the Reduction of Urban Poverty (PERPU), with the general aim of understanding its contribution to improving the living conditions of mayors living in Quelimane. However, it is clear that the situation of poverty in the communities does not seem to have been resolved, given the high levels of deprivation that certain urban families have been experiencing (not having access to basic quality public services and not being able to satisfy them by other means due to lack of financial capacity).

Organisations operate in an increasingly complex environment, constantly subject to various types of pressure, both internal and external. Public organisations are part of this scenario, and are increasingly being asked to deliver better performance as a result of efficient management mechanisms for their obligations. With the evolution in the use of computers and the media, new forms of state-society relationship models have been defined that are increasingly based on new information and communication technologies - ICTs. These technologies therefore have the potential to build a new relationship between government and citizens, as it is assumed that they can enable a more efficient, democratic and transparent public administration. It is in this context that e-governance emerges, encompassing citizens' involvement with the government by electronic means, allowing society to have a free say in government actions.

This work is a contribution to studies on climate and human health, with an emphasis on diseases of circulatory origin. With this in mind, this study aimed to analyze the influence of climate variables on mortality from diseases of the circulatory system in the Federal District between 2003 and 2012. It was found that fluctuations in climate variables - temperature and relative humidity (decrease in mean values) and atmospheric pressure (increase in mean values) - led to an increase in deaths from circulatory diseases. Thus, it is possible to conclude that the conditions of the physical environment linked to climate can contribute to various morbidities and mortalities, but it is worth noting that other factors can also contribute to the increase in deaths - socioeconomic conditions (housing, food, exposure to atmospheric pollutants) combined with pre-existing fixed factors.

The chosen topic is quite relevant, because the peculiarity of functioning of many enterprises in modern conditions is their constant dependence on all subjects of the totality of the common infrastructure. Enterprises in the process of production and economic activity constantly enters into direct and indirect relationships with suppliers of raw materials, components, consumers of finished products and competitors. The latter, proceeding from the goal of any enterprise - to create its consumer, try to strengthen their position in the market, thereby weakening the position of other enterprises. It is economic growth that is the goal and indicator of sustainability and efficiency of the enterprise in the long term. With the right impact on the factors of economic growth and their proper balance in the enterprise, the uniform development and expansion of the organization is ensured.

The postulate established by theorists interested in contributing to transformations in Portuguese language teaching, according to which the text should be the basic unit of teaching, underlies the understanding that the systematic study of the structural levels of language is a dispensable task when it comes to developing reading and writing skills. Given this conception, the questions that motivate the research are the following: i) since the text is a structure made up of several levels, is it really unnecessary to develop systematic teaching-learning processes at these levels when it comes to building reading and writing skills? And what space does the study of the syntactic level occupy in the proposals of linguists, theorists and official curriculum guidelines? Based on the assumption that these questions divide the opinions of researchers and teachers, this research presents and discusses the syntactic structure of the Portuguese language, highlighting its contributions to the construction of textual structuring processes and meaning in reading and writing.

Autonomy gives the person the ability to socialize in a group and with him/herself, driven by his/her freedom, allowing him/her to interact in different situations, adapting to the norms or rules. The purpose of this research is to solve how, through autonomy, habits of order are promoted in children from 4 to 5 years old. This research is developed in the School Educational Unit "Azucena Carrera Loor". Therefore, the present work uses a qualitative-quantitative bibliographic methodology where articles, theses and magazines were selected, then we have the field research where tools such as questionnaires, interview and observation sheet were used. After the tabulation of the information obtained, it is concluded that there is a relationship between autonomy and habits of order, from whose conclusions and recommendations are channeled the design of workshops for parents where a series of activities are proposed in face-to-face and/or virtual modality whose objective is to promote order through autonomy.

In recent years, the increase in environmental degradation has had a drastic impact on river basins. Little is said about how to protect a basin, and adequate riparian forest is a good way of protecting it. Much of the destruction of vegetation cover is due to the disorderly occupation of the area. Currently, reforestation of riparian forest is a technique that favours reducing the environmental impacts resulting from anthropogenic action on the environment and promotes the sustainable development of rural property. The aim of this work was to carry out a case study of a riparian forest recovery project, which is essential for guaranteeing the quality of life of future generations, and the need to improve rural management of the white water stream on the Fazenda Santa Izabel farm located in Ouro Verde - SP. In order to carry out this study, a bibliographical survey was carried out on the recovery of riparian forest. There is also a partnership between the city council and CATI, with the owner of the farm, encouraging environmental education for the students of the municipality's schools, carrying out visits and practical lessons during the school term.

This book aims to explore the perceptions of patients and nurses regarding Health Education practices within the National Network for Integrated Continuing Care. Rehabilitation is seen as an opportunity for everything to go back to the way it was. Nurses, faced with this situation, are called upon to assist the patient throughout the process and to act as catalysts for motivation. The predominance of the pathogenic paradigm among patients was evident; we believe that this passive and submissive stance of most patients is the result of the Biomedical Model and the banking pedagogy impregnated in some institutions, professionals, citizens and the community in general. On the other hand, we found that nurses emphasise the biopsychosocial model as a guideline for their practices, attributing psychological and social aspects to the causes and evolution of illnesses, relating psychological aspects to adherence to the therapeutic regime. This book is aimed at health professionals in general, seeking to contribute to the definition of guidelines in the field of Health Education.

The Matola River rises in the Manhiça district of Mozambique and runs for 67 km until it flows into the Indian Ocean in Maputo Bay. Near its mouth, in Baixo Matola, there are wetlands with alluvial soils, cut by several small streams. The dynamics of this place are accompanied by the cycle of the tides and the flooding of the river. The occupation of these wetlands brings with it changes in environmental processes of a hydrological, geomorphological and biological nature, with hydrogeo-environmental effects that condition the socio-diversity of the local community. This paper presents the dynamics of the Lower Matola River, taking into account the growing process of occupation due to urbanization. This process contributes to modifying water flows, its existence and availability, as well as external morphodynamic processes and the landforms associated with it. It was concluded that the occupation of these lands has generated effects that alter their quality, which threatens the continuity of species and the existence of the wetlands themselves.

Recently, the global demand for fuel ethanol has been expanding very rapidly, and almost all fuel ethanol is produced by fermenting sucrose in Brazil or corn glucose in the United States, but these raw materials will not be enough to satisfy international demand. Agro-industrial lignocellulosic residues, such as cashew bagasse, sugarcane bagasse, soybean hulls, etc., are abundant and low-cost sources for the biotechnological production of compounds with high added value, such as ethanol. In this context, the aim of this work was to evaluate the production of bioethanol from cashew stalk bagasse. To this end, the material was initially characterized in order to assess its cellulose and lignin content.

Inspired by studies in Cultural Geography, this paper presents the results of a study interested in outlining the importance of Fieldwork in Geography for the training of geographers and the circumstances surrounding this methodology in contemporary times. Considering the purposes of this study, we identified the main data from the Boletim Paulista de Geografia (No. 84), which points us towards reflecting on the similarities in the discussions that figure as theoretical-methodological subsidies on Fieldwork in/for Geography. The themes and concepts collected indicate that, despite the plurality of experiences in Fieldwork, it remains under constant construction, evolving and constituting itself in accordance with the very construction of geographical science, thus allowing us to advance in the analysis of Fieldwork in Cultural Geography, that is, the systematization of humanistic ideas and their applicability in Fieldwork. To this end, the "Postal Geography" project will be proposed as a way of showcasing fieldwork experiences in Geography.

The problem of the research is to show how 3D geometry, in particular the calculation of volume, has been overlooked and transformed into a deep arithmetic or algebraic calculation decontextualized. Specifically, the most intuitive notions of the concept, such as 3D representations, shape, size and perspective, are unknown, and the evolution of this topic throughout history is not considered. In order to make the calculation of volume non-linear, and take a significance in the student's life, it is necessary to work based on estimation and measurement, which is not simple, since in itself this content presents its own problematic (Pizarro, Albarracín & Gorgorió, 2018). Freudenthal (1983), performs a phenomenological analysis of volume, emphasizing different aspects of volume related to real situations, such as the manipulation of concrete solids, comparison of volumes and optimization of space. This implies that the calculation and understanding of volume is not only the acquisition of spatial skills, but also in the work of the processes of measuring and estimating.

This essay attempts to reconstruct a perhaps plausible scenario based on a fact that has never been disqualified as historical: the washing of Pilate's hands. Judas, with respect to his fellow disciples, is comparable only before the death of Jesus, and it is in this historical context that his true stature is revealed.
