Isla Mathews had never enjoyed the typical holiday traditions. There was something boring about sitting around a Christmas tree and singing the same songs from her childhood. Starting her own traditions, Isla readied herself for that year's holiday destination with her best friend. Though, as she arrived at the ski lodge in Colorado mother nature decided this year would not be as Isla planned.
Snowed in, her vacation partner snowed out, Isla readied herself for an uneventful time. That is, until a charming and captivating local entered the scene known only by the name, Tristan. Finding ways to occupy her time, Isla discovers there is more to this holiday than she had even imagined.
