A new year at Hiramoto High School begins and Sayumi is now a sophomore! She and Haiko are motivated to solve their birth mother's dilemma, written in a letter. After two unknown skilled rookies attempt to enter the sword art club, Sayumi and her friends decide to cooperate to look for the mysterious ring.
