They thought it was their dream home. They were wrong.
Kara and her family have moved into a French country-style house on a wooded lot in idyllic Gracie Town—it's perfect. Or so they thought.
They’ve just started unpacking the moving truck when Kara catches herself calling her daughter by someone else’s name. It’s shocking, unsettling. Grateful no one else notices, she pushes it from her mind. But then she calls her the name again … and again …
When a statue is found on the property, Kara’s daughter is instantly attached to the creepy “dolly.” Soon after its discovery, Kara’s dreams turn odd, nightmarish, and issues she thought had been resolved long ago are haunting her again. Nine-year-old Jack may notice his mom’s sudden obsession with the gray barn down the road, and it calls out to him too, but he sees unsettling images—and he's not telling anybody.
What is going on at the new house? Is it something sinister, or is Kara going mad?
