Evil exists. I've seen evil. Not your garden variety, child molester or axe murderer kind of evil. I've seen real evil as its jaws chewed up an infant, swallowing the large chunks whole. I watched in horror as evil ate the soul of my partner. The nightmares are real. Darkness exists. And I and a handful of people stand in the gap, protecting humanity from an evil that they don't even know about. Do not pity me, I don't deserve it. I'm the one who chose to fight.
