Poetry, however, can get us all a little closer. Poetry is the avenue HJ Pizarro chooses to express those deep feelings of pride in accomplishing a roadtrip, or a difficult repair. Poetry is also a way he uses of reliving the fond memories of time spent with family. So, with poetry, Pizarro brings us all along on a journey of emotional highs, lows, and the fun or silly stuff in between.
