Someone wants Eve Lloyd out of the way... When a new local realtor asks Eve Lloyd to add a special homey touch to a house on the market, Eve thinks nothing of it. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. She only needs to go in, bake some muffins, clean up and leave. What could go wrong? According to her friend, Jill, anything could go wrong so she should play it safe and stay away. Dismissing the warning as nonsense, Eve spends the next day baking up a storm. When the house sells, Eve returns to her daily routine of dropping by the Seabreeze Inn, running errands and making sure her aunt, Mira, has everything she needs. Then, she hears the news. The quiet cul-de-sac has been rocked by an unexpected death and Eve suddenly realizes she is the only one who knows the death was no accident. As she works on convincing the police to treat the death as suspicious, Eve experiences a couple of accidents and near misses. Is someone out to silence her? Humorous Cozy Mystery.
