Lampshade Katie

Her actual name is Katherine Du Bois Sanchez, but most folks know her as Lampshade Katie. She was born on a houseboat which was moored to a dock on Bayou Teche near Le Pont-Breaux, Saint Martin Parish, Louisiana. Ms. Katie is a founding member of the Lampshade Katie Society of Arts and Humanities. Today, we find Lampshade Katie visiting a school library. Children are playing hide-and-seek in the school library during a book sale.
