L'Opacité

Growing up on air force bases in a dysfunctional family, the author re-examines her life stages through poetic expressions of her memories. Time dims the past and often what we remember is foggy or clouded, akin to looking through a veil.
The title of this collection, L'Opacité, attempts to capture this surreal quality through reflection and viewing the past from different perspectives.
