Medical emergencies can and do occur in the practice of dentistry. They can happen to anyone- a patient, a doctor, a member of the office staff or a person accompanying a patient. The prevention and management of medical emergencies is basically affirmed on acquiring the knowledge and understanding of the varieties of medical emergency crisis that dentists may face during their practice.
