Montana Spring

A story with the broad scope of Lonesome Dove, MONTANA SPRING tells of the earliest days of the Montana region through the Brewer family, coming west from Virginia in 1856. In the ensuing years young Clay becomes a U.S. Marshal at 17 and at 19 takes a Blackfeet woman from the ill-fated band of Chief Heavy Runner for his wife.
