Morning Coffee with the Devil

I like writing about the Devil. He is a most malleable character. We have tended to write him as little more than a hillbilly cannibal, or a raging animal, but he would never have sat with God, eh, if he were that? There must be more to him. He must be erudite, for one thing. Well-traveled and mannered. And he has free will. (He disobeys, right?) He is the victim of more bad press than any human. Why does he stick around? What does he do in his spare time? Does he date? How has he evolved?
