"Nursery Rhymes For Modern Times" is a collection of Poem-Stories that teach young readers moral lessons and introduce them to unforgettable and relatable modern characters in a fun and enjoyable way! Young readers will enjoy reciting these verses to family, friend, and possibly in school presentations. The promotion of literacy in our young people will be made easier when these New Nursery Rhymes are introduced to the children of our modern times! Anjo Gamiarha is the father of six children who are now all adults. As his children were growing up they inspired him to write updated nursery rhymes that his children could relate to and that would make their own time reading and writing more fun. His children''s questions about life and their love of being read stories was the reason Anjo delighted in coming up with his own stories that taught his children moral principles that he wanted them to live by. But often Anjo would just make up fun characters in his mind and have his children to do the same.The author has been married to his wife for over forty years and she was the main teacher of the moral lessons that he hopes were "caught" in his poem stories. Some of Anjo''s work has appeared in independent Christian School curriculum for early readers. Anjo has a B.A. in English Creative Writing and a Masters in Biblical Studies. He is looking forward to doing more writing in the future to inspire the love of literature now in his grand children and all children.
