Pieces of Eight

Pieces of Eight is a search for ancestral roots among my eight great grandparents. It is part of a continuing effort that began 35 years ago to understand and preserve my family origins. The premise is that my genetic and cultural history is part of a living legacy that began in prehistory and continues into the future. At nearly eighty years of age, my personal contributions to family history are almost complete. It is time to deliver my account to posterity, so that others might carry them forward and add their contributions.
