A sentient book claims to possess knowledge that can forestall the coming apocalypse. A fugitive street urchin searches for salvation in powers her kingdom censured as ruinous, generations before. Scenes, monuments, and memories of sordid events long past serve to remind that they will happen again, that eventually, tomorrow will be worse.
Sam Locrian invites you to consider these promises, whether they are angry, desperate, or just uncanny, to stare into the mirror-or the abyss-between what we owe the future and what we inevitably seem to give it.
