Ramsey Island

Owned by the RSPB, Ramsey Island lies about 1km off the coast of the St David's peninsula in Pembrokeshire. Along with its spectacular sea bird cliffs, coastal scenery and heathland, Ramsey has the most important grey seal breeding colony in southern Britain. Ffion Rees has spent her life on these waters, and vividly documents the island's history, geography and wildlife, combining specialist knowledge with personal anecdote and a range of stunning photography.
