Based on the theories of Zygmunt Bauman on liquid modernity and Anthony Giddens on expert systems, the author traces a profile of journalism since its inception, goes through the internet revolution, analyzes the automobile as a symbol of capitalism, observes the difficult transition from print to online journalism, reveals various facets of Automotive Journalism and ends by identifying changes in the social role of journalists.
