Second Time Around

This novel is an unrelenting adventure, inspired by the great adventure books of yesteryear: Robinson Crusoe, The Mysterious Island, and Treasure Island, just to name a few. It starts out when an over-the-hill "Baby Boomer" awakens one
morning to find that he and his dog are the only survivors in a world gone "tits up"! He asks himself, "What could have caused all this devastation and death? Tornado? Flood? Hurricane? Nuclear War? Had I just slept through it?" As he faces the many obstacles to his survival, he has one key advantage. He is young once again. Somehow, miraculously, when awakening from fifty years of hibernation, he has lost fifty years of age and now can face his many adventures as a robust, proud, self-confident, much younger man. Follow him, as he meets his bumbling, easygoing, yet dangerous colleague "Rosey" and they rollick and frolic through the insane upside-down world that they have unwittingly inherited. This book is not for the faint of heart. It is a sort of amalgamation of Robinson Crusoe and Mad Max, interspaced with scenes of incandescent violence, coterie sex and the wild escapades of the featured characters ...you know, a good Read!
