Secrets of Heaven is Emanuel Swedenborg's magnum opus, a fifteen-volume work that delves into the inner, spiritual meaning of the biblical books of Genesis and Exodus. This third volume covers the inner meaning of Genesis 16-21, giving an account of the early stages of Jesus' inward development, including the interactions of his human side and his divine side. It additionally addresses other topics, and in particular the true nature of the Last Judgment.
