Om So Cried the Wolf
I wish upon these bitter laments, these
subtle raindrops
pattering across perfectly indifferent
parchment paper,
a breath of life...
May power be present in my pen's stroke,
and song belted out with every supple verse;
luscious chorus of violent embrace,
vibrating in a golden haze,
like the hummingbird as he skims across
a brilliant sunset
and casts his melancholy shadow
across the landscape of time and space:
even sadness has its place....
