Om Solid waste management in the commercial district of N'zérékoré/R.Guinea
Hazardous waste management is a very important issue. This is because hazardous waste is not limited to solid substances. It also exists in liquid and gaseous form. Hazardous waste must be handled with the utmost care at all times, and all protocols and safety measures must be put in place. The negative impact of hazardous waste is enormous and should be addressed in management facilities to improve the safety of workers and the environment. In most African countries, particularly in the coastal countries of West Africa, strong population growth is creating a huge demand for better living conditions. As Africa moves towards rapid urbanisation and a technology boom, electronic products are being used on a large scale. The demand for E-products has led to a rapid increase in E-waste, which is considered hazardous. In most countries, urbanisation is increasing as economies move from developing to more developed countries (Sayon, 1991).
