Ty walks with his head down, but is incredibly observant; Sam walks confidently through life, but is blind in many ways. Drawing from his experience as a teacher in both public schools and juvenile detention facilities, Robert Morse has written a novel perfect for the classroom. The lessons in Soul White: Sometimes the End Is the Beginning are many and diverse, and Morse offers ideas for lesson plans. At the same time, Soul White is engaging enough to be read outside the class. All proceeds from this book go to Morse’s nonprofit Kids R Inc. Kids R Inc, which sponsors and funds community activities to help the youth in Salisbury, Maryland.
