Burlington's train number 30 left Casper, Wyoming on a dark and stormy night in September 1923. Less than an hour into its run to Denver, Colorado the train plunged into the flooded waters of Cole Creek. This book tells the story of the train and those onboard in what would become Wyoming's worst rail disaster.
