Leonard Hartman is a saint in a church filled with vampires. Leonard is a soft-spoken and easy-going 35-year-old developmentally challenged man who rents a room in East Dayton, Ohio, from a retired postal worker. And he's come to the realization that the world around him is nothing more than a functioning corpse. The drug-infested area in which he lives holds more than a few challenges for him, and now he has unwittingly fallen prey to two neighborhood thugs-along with a recovering drug addict, Janice Swanson-and been pulled into a life-threatening situation.
