The Death Doula

Some fates are worse than death and some fears are greater than loyalty... Marki Hartwell is a death doula. Aiding people as they exit this world isn't just her job, it's her calling. Unfortunately, being a doula has cost Marki her girlfriend Paula and their future together. When a hospice notification informs Marki that a patient named Franklin is dying alone-with no family, friends, or neighbors to comfort him-Marki sets off in the worst storm she's ever seen because no one should die alone.
