Gerontology experts have educated us well on what
living a long, healthy life may require. It includes such
things as moderation in one's diet, the need for regular
exercise, the importance of keeping our minds alert, and, of
course, having the right attitude. Concerning the latter, I
believe our lives to have been a gift. And how we show our
appreciation is a reflection of how clearly we recognize our
good fortune. Here are a few other thoughts that may prove
