Om The Farmer Boy's Tale
One humid evening in 1964, Walt Heaps the farm boy not only witnessed a murder, but held the dying man's hand, reciting a prayer, until help arrived. Unfortunately, it all fell to the coroner, who pronounced Harold Dinsmore dead at the scene-a field across from Jady's Twin Springs Drive-In where he had been stabbed during an argument.
After the funeral and trial, at which Walter appeared as a witness, life went on, but it wouldn't be the last time death visited his doorstep.
Walt met and married the girl of his dreams, Kathy, and they had two amazing children. A number of houses and a number of jobs later, Walt found himself working with his father as a carpenter's helper to build a new house for the President of Forest Hill State Bank.
How did the farm boy wind up exchanging his overalls for a business suit?
And why did two other men meet their deaths by hanging?
Find it all out in... The Farmer Boy's Tail Tale.
