The Little Rag Doll

Young Kaleb was not prepared for a big change in his life, this eleven-year-old boy has to face an unexpected loss that will challenge his coping skills and his ability to move forward and make sense of it all. Although his family will always be there to support him, Kaleb still feels alone, but luckily he gets some unexpected support from something we all take for granted, his homemade little rag doll. Kaleb is about to endure an incredible journey of growth, maturity and is about to learn some valuable life lessons by going down memory lane that he will never forget.
This book is about loss and how one so young learns to cope with hard events such as the death of a loved one. I hope that for all those who read this go to their boxes of memories and reach for their version of their little rag doll and hold it tightly.
We all have to face many challenges throughout our lives, but some of the hardest days are when we are children who feel like we are alone. For most of us we have been very lucky to have that one friend, or companion, that one very special stuffed animal, or in this case a rag doll that never failed to be there whenever we needed them the most.
