The Misadventures of Bubba Lee

The Misadventures of Bubba Lee is a compilation of stories, saga, 'stretched truths' and embellishments of a fictional character growing up in the mountains of Appalachia. The author paints a colorful portrait in words of a young man's life during the sixties while growing up in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. Though fictitious in nature the misadventures offers insights into the unique Appalachian culture and the influence of folktales upon the mountainous regions. Bubba's misadventures will remind the reader of hi/her own mishaps and unique individuals met during the days of innocence. Along the journey the reader will develop a greater respect for days gone by and might actually recall his or her own friend by the fictional name of Bubba Lee.
