In 1925, Percy Fawcett left England for Brazil--he would never return. For his entire life, Fawcett had been fascinated with exploration. In 1906, Fawcett made his first expedition to South America; for over 15 years, he made several more. It was in this time that he began formulating the possibility of a lost city.
