Alone, unarmed and sleeping in a tent, Patirck and June drove through 16 countries of Central and South America, often hiding from bandits and inspected by police several times a day.
They met many people, rich ones in resorts, store keepers in towns and ones in remote places who thought that where they lived was the whole world.
And they saw many things that those who go on tours will never see.
