The Scavenger

It started out as a simple game app for your phone, and it was quickly presented to the board for approval. Many man-hours were spend on developing the game and it was finally ready to be released to the general public, but first, a soft launch was scheduled and beta testers were picked from all walks of life. The game was given to a select few. The game was simple and fun to play. Surely, it would be a hit with the casual gamer, all you had to do was capture avatars on your phone during your daily commute and you would be paid for each avatar you captured.
But something would go terribly wrong! There was a glitch in the matrix. It seems like one of the players took a game a bit too seriously. Now the 'scavengers' were the ones being scavenged! What kind of demon would do such a thing? What kind... indeed?
