The Strange Case of Mary Rookes

Winona receives a frantic letter from a woman near the coast of North Carolina asking for help with something haunting her house and being seen by her daughter. She relates that there has been physical contact as well. Winona brings the BTG gang together for a meeting to discuss the new case and how to proceed. Meanwhile, Isabella is still recovering from her injuries and agrees to stay behind to mind the store. While this is happening, the BTGs that adopted transgender girls are helping to teach them how to live in normal society through etiquette lessons as well as conversational situations. Winona, Jessica, and Katie took a short visit to see the house and immediately discovered what was haunting the area where the house was built. Amber and Isabella agree to do some background research and find a historical connection to the area with a brief but limited account of a witch trial. While all of that is happening, Isabella and her mother travel to Atlanta for the reading of a will belonging to her father. The shock of that visit sends reverberations across her family and her relationship with Joseph.
Meanwhile, Amber meets a young man while hiking alone and agrees to help him find his way back to his truck, leading to a much longer relationship. They start school, and after fall break, Winona, Cindy, Amber, Jessica, and Katie return to the house near Columbia, NC, to begin their investigation. They are hardly there a day when things become quite strange, and Cindy starts to see things only to be whisked away by the ghost of a witch.
The BTGs are in danger as a hurricane moves inland while Cindy is missing. Please find out how they deal with this and the revelations given to them to help learn about this strange witch.
