The Tale of Prince Misha

This Russian themed fairy tale celebrates the matryoshka nesting doll, and entails a myriad of wondrous animals that lead Prince Misha in his search for Dasha, the lost snow maiden. In addiiton, the animals assist Prince Misha in his quest to find the magical matryoshka doll which holds the key to break the spells cast by Queen Zoya of the Forest. Readers will be taken on an exciting literary journey through Somova's vibrant watercolor illustrations along with Halverson's adventurous narrative.
