With trembling hands, Maya knocked on the door of the white lady's house. No one answered so she opened it cautiously and stepped inside. The house was dark and still; she called out but got no response.
Then, she saw a shadow dart to a room down the right hallway. With curiosity, she followed it inside. As soon as she opened the door, she was in awe of the dazzling pajamas adorning the walls-they were purple, pink, yellow, orange, and more!
She felt surprised and confused if the white lady only wears red pajamas, why does she have all these colorful clothes?
