Om They Called Me Curly Bill
For the most part it was quite a normal childhood, similar in many ways to those of the countless other kids who grew up in Ballybrack in the late seventies and early eighties. Except of course for the werewolves, the gremlin, the ambitions to the papacy, the missing skin, the Amoxicillin induced gastric suction, the quicksand, the monster in the manhole, and the faux fur coat.
Stephen Duffy, author of the much loved Tommy Costelloe trilogy, 'Off Me Block', returns with, 'They Called Me Curly Bill', a collection of comical stories of his own, somewhat unorthodox, childhood in Ballybrack. Told with a frank and uproarious honesty, it recounts both adventure and misadventure alike, and is certain to both entertain and amuse from cover to cover.
