In this book, William Lloyd Garrison presents an impartial exhibition of the doctrines, principles, and purposes of the American Colonization Society (ACS), together with the resolutions, addresses, and remonstrances of the free people of color. He argues that the ACS is a racist organization that seeks to perpetuate slavery and racial inequality in America, and calls for its abolition.
