Sema returns to Norcoradun to join the Hidden Truth fight against the Council forces. The war seems to favor the Hidden Truth, but General Poole springs a surprise attack, sending the Hidden Truth into chaos. Chad, leader of the Council, makes a fatal mistake when he attacks the AshMor Empire using Ruecca built Explorer spaceships. This attack frees Alex and the RAIs from their promise to Aria Som. They now enter the war. AshMor enters the war on Norcoradun and Sylenyca while Alex and the RAIs attack the outer planets where the Council builds their version of the Ruecca Explorer spaceships. Chad sees the end coming, so he decides to invade the Ruecca Empire to capture a superweapon that will turn the war in his favor. It is the Battle for Asorrow Gardens.
